Galley Kunst 7 25.09.2014

From March 2015 Voka´s art works will be represented in Switzerland. The Gallery Kunst 7 was founded by Sonja Frei in 2004 in Zürich. Since 2010 the Gallery with its expanded art space concept is located at the Zürchersee.

Gallery Ariel Sibony 24.05. 2014

For the first time Ariel and Nathalie Sibony will present large-sized acrylic paintings of VOKA in their prestigious gallery. The gallery is situated on the history-charged Place de Vosges, which is known as one of the oldest and most beautiful places in Paris. In former times there were held royal ceremonies and weddings, now it is famous for many exclusive galleries, boutiques and cafés.

Voka supportes the Ronald McDonald House Charities to the benefit of seriously ill children. 24.10.2013

Once again the spontaneous realist VOKA achieved the highest price with his paintings in the section of fine arts for the Charity-auction at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Gala. One of the main exhibits in the purpose of the auction was the large-format acrylic painting “New York City – Times Square”. It was auctioned for sensational 26.000,-- Euros. The Ronald McDonald House Charities is one of the most prestigious charity-events in Austria. The total proceeds of the arts-auction amounted to over 460.000,-- Euros.

Voka achieves highest bid in the contemporary arts category at the Im Kinsky 96th art auction 28.06.2013

This is the third international auction success for the spontaneous-realist Voka. Two bidders were competing to win the acrylic painting “New York City” via telephone. The painting was finally won at a bidding price of 40.000,--. Art auction manager Michael Kovacek, appraised the painting to start at 15.000,--. Visibly overwhelmed by the outcome of the auction, the artist confesses: “ I did not expect such a result. It is a great honor, and I appreciate the recognition of my work!”

Heads Exhibition 18.06.2011

People are at the core of the exhibited series "Heads". Through the use of his typical strong and contrasting palette of colours, the spontaneous realist probes the characters of unique personalities and also the man on the street. He has already created portraits of Pablo Picasso, Jimi Hendrix, Marilyn Monroe and Andy Warhol. All of these extraordinary characters haveone thing in common: VOKA's recognition - be it for their artistic existence, special deeds or for their far-reaching or incidental encounters.

Living art on the international golf tournament 01.09.2011

Things continued in a remarkable manner at this year's UNIQUA Ladies Golf Open from 2nd until 4th September at the Föhrenwald Golf Club. VOKA supported the tournament with a painting which was kept a strict secret until it was put on display to the general public and its sponsors on 29th July at the VOKA gallery. The motif formed the upcoming advertising campaign of the Ladies Golf Open and the work itself is the main prize of a charity project. The proceeds from the painting, which will be handed over during the awards ceremony on 4th September, will be used to benefit the world of disabled golf.

Opening of Top Art 1800 11.10.2011

Austria is to be included in the rankings of the highest galleries in the world. The Austrian painter VOKA has opened the highest gallery in the country – VOKA Top Art 1800. His gallery is situated at almost the highest point of the 2,000 metre high Schneeberg at the final station of the Schneeberg Railway, which has enjoyed a long tradition. In the international rankings VOKA's Top Art 1800 gallery is in competition with the highest gallery in Europe found in Switzerland at 2,500 metres as well as the highest gallery in the world situated on a glacier in the Swiss Alps at a height of 3,000 metres. At a lofty 1,800 metres, the Top Art 1800 gallery is already a beacon for Austria's art and cluture scene. This amazing height is 12 times that of the St. Stephen's Cathedral.
